The Symptoms
Some of the most common symptoms include widespread pain, exhaustion, insomnia and unrefreshing sleep, chronic headaches, cognitive problems including brain fog, dizziness, impaired coordination, Irritable Bowel Syndrome and TMJ (jaw pain).
There are so many diverse and varied symptoms, everyone experiences the condition in different ways and so it’s no wonder it can take so long to get a diagnosis.
When I first started experiencing problems there was no logic and I couldn’t understand how I could have so much going wrong within my body at the same time. Literally, it felt like one thing after another, with no clear link, and the randomness of everything was crazy.
I’ve tried to include information and self-help tips on as many symptoms as I can, but I appreciate it’s not necessarily everything. I can only write about things I have experienced myself. I can’t stress enough how important it is to discuss any symptoms with your doctor and get a referral to a specialist where applicable. Any time you experience any new problem it is essential you seek medical advice in the first instance to rule out any other conditions and to discuss the most appropriate course of action.
